Playboy is the name of a famous adult magazine with pictures of naked women. Was first published in 1953 in the United States by Scientitts and his colleagues in the United States. His own company became Playboy Enterprise Inc., which does not stop at the Playboy magazine, but penetrated every aspect of media forms such as: publishing, licensing commercial use of the name Playboy, Playboy TV, and entertainment.

In addition to photo-photo sensual, Playboy also ran an article of fashion, sports, commercial goods, and interviews with some prominent figures such as Bob Dylan, Michael Jordan, Bill Gates, and Mohammad Ali. Playboy has also been doing a phenomenal interview with Fidel Castro, Yasser Arafat, Moammar Khadafi and Malcolm X. In addition, many seasoned fiction writers such as Margaret Atwood, Tom Clancy, Roald Dahl and Arthur C. Clark mengontribusikan their short stories in Playboy who later became famous writings.

History of Playboy America

The name of this magazine was originally a "Stag Party" and has no relation at all with outdoor magazine "Stag" which first published. Stag magazine owner Hugh Hefner contacted and informed that they would protect their magazine name through legal channels. Hefner and Eldon Sellers, who later became executive vice president, and then met to discuss the new name. Sellers mother happened to have worked for a car company Playboy Automobile Company in Chicago. The company was short-lived and then went bankrupt. Sellers also suggested that this new magazine called Playboy.

First edition published in December 1953 in America, do not have a date because Hefner was not sure I could publish a second edition. Hefner did not have enough money to pay models to pose in Playboy, so he pays copyright photo-photo beautiful woman of the calendar to be displayed in the magazine. Photo calendars actress Marilyn Monroe on the cover of the inaugural edition of the magazine and quickly became a sensation. The magazine sold out in a matter of weeks.
