Motorola (NYSE: MOT) is a multinational company that produces a wide range of telecommunications products. Established in 1928 by the name of Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms. Headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois. The company produces a wide range of telecommunications products. Employs 66,000 workers in 2006. Having lost $ 4.3 billion from 2007 to 2009, the company was divided into two independent public companies, Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions on January 4, 2011. [6] Motorola Solutions is generally considered to be the direct successor to Motorola, Inc., as the reorganization was structured with Motorola Mobility being separated.
Motorola in Indonesia

In 1991 Motorola establish a Representative Office in Jakarta. Company's business is growing rapidly and in 1995 Motorola set up a limited liability company, PT Motorola Indonesia. Starting with a small office with 5 employees in 1991, the number of employees increased by more than 100 people who 98% are Indonesian.

Products sold by Motorola to support the Indonesian telecommunications infrastructure. The main products consist of systems and mobile devices, two-way radio communication devices and broadband wireless access (BWA).

PT Motorola Indonesia provides sales support, marketing and engineering support for the Motorola products through distributors and dealers. Support services also include system engineering, installation, site survey and maintenance support.
